Ufa University of Science and Technology established
UUST was created through the merger of Bashkir State University and Ufa State Aviation Technical University. Registration documents and the university's history confirm the establishment date.
Context
The merger changed the city's university structure. The new university's establishment does not mean its academic fields started from scratch: they are connected to the two predecessor institutions.
